Up early, teenage boys on their bikes before 7am. The wind had shifted and that was all the enticement necessary. It makes a difference when it is at your back. An easy day with earlier quit time. The boys heading into the tent to get away from the bugs. Not hot enough to convince them that swimming is a good answer. Tomorrow, we will hit ND and look for Minot. We will try to get thru; the current recommendation is minimize travel there and only East bound. Well, Neil has showed us how to get around flooded roads so I feel obligated. Boys in surprisingly good spirits. Enjoying the food, ice cream, maybe even the sore butts. 120 miles today still with fresh legs at the end of the day. More t-storms predicted for tonight but not as compellingly close. lots of water means lots of bugs. Surprisingly green fields but it is early. If not flooded, farmes are likely pretty happy though spraying for mildew. No bad rain for a while and I think we are tied sunscreen days for raincoat days.
