Today was our longest day yet. It added up to a total of 0 miles on the bike.
The day started with some indesicion. We had no plans to start the day except for sleeping in. (This planning is not unusual for us.) Though, by the time everyone woke up (Eamonn was last one awake having to be woken up at 10) we decided we were going to stay in Whitefish for the day. What a treat for us!
The was well enjoyed and used, as everyone rested throughout Father's Day. The morning after breakfast was mostly used for resting (during which Eamon and Colin enjoyed their time on the game cube in the house).
The afternoon was also used for resting along with other things. These things included checking our bikes, a little jumping on a trampoline, and playing some frisbee.
Now we are planning on getting some early bed rest so we can get up early in the morning and head out.
Though the weather would not have been bad, the day was most likely more enjoyed resting. The question is will we be able to get back on the bikes tomarrow?
Sorry we missed saying hi to the fathers! Way to compensate for your father, Colin and Ian! We actually went 8 miles downhill on our bikes for fathers day. Neil Kristi Marin and Sikeli wish your butts well
ReplyDeleteMama Kempen wants to know why you took a day off after only three days of biking. She put on 24 miles yesterday and for the previous several days. She hasn't taken a rest day in a month, Also she says that if the Monkey Butt is not working that she will make pillows for you to sit on as you bike across the country.
ReplyDeleteFinally she says to enjoy beautiful, scenic Browning and that she wants a bottle of hooch from Izzys. Mama Kempen
