Our longest day yet, with over 110 miles down, and 8 and a half hour on our bikes, we are so thankful to have warm foods and beds, yes, beds, to sleep in. guided to a secret hidden trail, we had a wonderful without any signs of humans for the trip. A sighting of elk along the way, the first flat goes to my dad and his rear wheel, as predicted. A close miss with a deer ended our day, as we dragged ourselves panting and sweating into Whitefish. So glad to be here.
What is this I hear that you might take a day off and stay in White Fish? Well, good for you. I hope you decide to do so. No rush, you'll make it. After more than 300 miles in three days even the wicked (and Kate) deserves a day off.
ReplyDeleteYes, enjoy a day off, regroup and dry out! You're all doing great...how are your hind ends?
