day 11 Berthold withing striking distance of Minot

Ok, Williston last night was far from perfect.....oil boom really has changed the character from small farming environs to Wyoming/Alaskan license plates and OIL! Makes me never want to drive again. Not nearly as bucolic. Today, managed to find some back roads that went well and got away from some constant din. Now, the Minot question. I think we will sneak into town.......Appreciate the complicated nature of the quest but we are here and might as well check it out. Don't want to get in the way so will see how the day plays out. We are in Berthold after a 106 mile day. Seems we are stuck around that mileage. enough time to blog, read, cook dinner, check over bikes and deal with Colin's broken spoke for the day. Spirits better than last night with camping again.....
