First day of the ride, and already spirits are low. Of course, it doesn’t help that as of right now it is still raining. We were soaking, and miserably cold. Luckily we are being hosted by a family, and we are warm. Started to determine we will take pictures at ever state border and top of pass. Ed-Gumby (Dumby) has joined our visit, and plans to make many appearances. Our planning is clearly lacking, as we don’t even know where we will be going tomorrow, and will be winging it.
